During the 6th and 7th of June, Bioterraneo participated at Organic Food Iberia in Ifema, Madrid. Organic Food Iberia is presented as the new professional and international fair dedicated to promoting the organic food and wine industries, among the main buyers of organic products of the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe.

More than 500 exhibitors have met in the pavilion 4 of Ifema to show the best sustainable and innovative genres of the world in agri-food, wines, beverages, textile ‘ecopackaging’, health and welfare. Bioterráneo booth, located ay the pavilion of Andalucia, has shown our 100% Organic products as our GazpachoOrganic Gourmet, Salmorejo Without Gluten Organic and Organic Watermelon Juice that have had a great reception, waking up a lot of interest our 0.5 l packaging. We have also presented some of our 2019 novelties such as organic vegetable cream, organic zucchini cream or organic fried tomato, news that will soon be available in the market.

Without doubt the success of this event dedicated 100% to organic products is great news for those of us who have been betting for years on organic production and innovation in this sector. Spanish organic production has a profile of sustained growth that has positioned Spain as the first producer in the European Union by area with about two million hectares dedicated to organic production (8.21% of all useful agricultural space), and the fourth largest in the world with a total of 40,000 operators, more than 7,800 green industrial establishments, more than 1,110 wholesalers and more than 260 importers. Organic farming is present in all the autonomous communities, although in favor of disparate portions when concentrating more than 51% of the surface in Andalusia, followed by more than 18% in Castilla-La Mancha.
